Pain is not just a physical condition, it can always be an emotional pain.  


Chronic or acute pain can negatively affect the lives of the people who suffer from them. Pain of any kind can increase stress and anxiety, it can change sleep mood, and also decrease mobility. 


Medication may be effective but may also give side effects some of them dangerous. Reiki is one treatment for pain managements that doesn’t involve medication or surgery. 


When pain becomes an emotional aspect then the situation is getting worst. Patients with long-term pain have increased levels of anxiety and depression and experience increase in pain problems.  


Reiki can help decrease pain perception by healing the emotional aspect of pain. It resolves emotional destress and allows healing energy to flow freely throughout the body.  It brings relaxation and reduces stress and anxiety. 


Reiki is energy healing and is done by the laying on of hands.  This allows energy to flow from the source, through the practitioner and into the recipient. This process will release any blockages or imbalances in the recipient body (at all levels, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual). As the chakras become balanced one can experience a state of well-being wholeness and inner peace
